Early life and career:
He belongs to Newark, New Jersey. His family moved to San Francisco where he spent his childhood up to the age of 11. His family settled in Boston. His father Joseph Rogan was a police officer. He has not revealed name of his mother .His father used to fight with his mom and domestic violence between his parents led to their divorce when he was just 5 years old .After settling in Boston at the age of 11, He joined Newton South high school and graduated in 1985 from there.He also joined University of Massachusetts for his higher education but again as famous personality do, he dropped out of the university. He has been educated with Martial Arts. Rogan also participated in Little League baseball in his early teens.Je also practiced kickboxing but retired at 21 due to injuries. After 24 years he moved to Newyork.
He started working on his stand up comedy and took several jobs to secure him financially by teaching martial arts at Boston University, delivering newspaper,construction works and also as a private investigator. In 1990 Rogan moved to Newyork as a full time comedian.
